Handling of information

In the creative phase of a visual story of value, brand-ART deals with a number of personal information that brand-ART has received in the shape of collage material from business X's project co-ordinator.

Types of information

brand-ART handles a range of the following type of information (often in fragments) about current or former persons, who has, or has had, direct or indirect connection to business X.

Normal categories of personal information:

Names, adresses, emails, phone numbers

Special categories of personal information:

Harmless photos, which do not violate or put people on display.

Legitimate purpose and interest 

brand-ART handles personal information for the following objectives and with the following interest in mind:

  • Creating a cohesive story about business X in "a piece that is worth more than a thousand words".

  • Creating an anchor in an ever changing world in the shape of a visual story of value.

  • Creating a hybrid between branding, art and storytelling, which gives value to sender and receiver respectively.

  • Creating innovative communication with identity- and cultural enhancing effect.

  • Rendering visible the people and values behind business X by creating a visual story of value consisting of "DNA collage materials".

Voluntariness

When brand-ART receives personal information about persons, who have been, or currently are, in touch with business X, this personal information is given voluntarily and without consent. Business X is not obligated to give this personal information to brand-ART. The consequence of not giving brand-ART the personal information will be that brand-ART cannot achieve the above mentioned objective.

Handing over of personal information 

Personal information will be a part of brand-ART's visual story of value. 

The visual story of value will be for physical display at business X as well as both the website and social media of business X and that of brand-ART.

Storage period

brand-ART and business X stores the above mentioned personal information as long as it is deemed necessary to achieve the objectives indicated above. Any surplus collage materials will be destroyed by brand-ART immediately after the visual story of value has been completed.

Rights

Persons who have, or have had, direct or indirect contact with business X has the right to have their personal information deleted or limited.

Data responsibility

brand-ART is data responsible and secures that the handling of personal information happens in accordance with current data protection law. 

​
